Freeda George Foreman is a former professional boxer, and the daughter of the two-time World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, George Foreman. She began her career in boxing at the age of 23. Following her dream, she left home with only raw boxing talent, and headed to Denver, Colorado to train.
Her boxing career was short lived. However, knowing exactly what it took to achieve her great health, and transform her body into phisically fit, Freeda decided to make it her mission to share her knowledge with the world.
Reaching out to the youth in her local community, Freeda informed them about the benefits and importance of eating healthy. She also demonstrated to them creative ways they could have fun while getting fit.
Through awareness Freeda believes young children and adults can combat obesity, and the many health risk attacked to being inactive. Since 2001, Freeda has lectured school-age students in and around her hometown of Houston, Texas. She warns students about the silent monster, "Obesity," and expresses to them the dangers that go along with a sedentary lifestyle.
Remaining physically active herself, Freeda has made it a life-long dedication to maintain her fitness. She continues to share her knowledge by writing about her secret tips to achieving better health. She also writes about the many ways you can get fit, and delicious way you can eat your way to lean.
Freeda promoted the family program, "Freeda Foreman Family Fitness," a package for parents and children both, to properly portion meals, and exercise together as a family while having fun. Freeda also has promoted boxing under her promotional company, "Boxing Classics of America."
